Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information Fitinty collects, why, and how it is handled. It applies to fitinty.com, app.fitinty.com, and tenant storefronts hosted by Fitinty.

What we collect

Account information you provide (name, email address, password), content you create on the platform (documents, books, courses, listings), and basic technical information needed to operate the service (such as IP addresses in server logs).

How we use it

To provide the platform's features, secure your account, and communicate with you about the service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your content to advertise to you.

Cookies

We use session cookies for signing in - they are required for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

When the Fitinty Market sends you to a business

When you open a business from the Fitinty Market, we set one cookie in your browser, named fitinty_market. It holds only the address name of that business's page, it is never sent to any other website, and it expires after 7 days. If you buy from that business in that time, it tells us the Market brought you, which sets the share of the sale Fitinty keeps. That share is paid by the business, not by you: your price does not change. The cookie is not used for advertising, and you can delete it in your browser at any time.

Analytics

Public storefront pages count views in a privacy-light way: daily aggregate counts scoped to the visited page, without building visitor profiles and without third-party analytics trackers.

Sharing

Content you choose to publish (a public storefront, a published course or listing) is visible to visitors as you configured it. We share data with service providers only where needed to run the platform - for example, our hosting provider - and never for their own marketing.

Facebook and Instagram

When a business connects its Facebook Page and Instagram account to Fitinty, we keep the Page's access code (encrypted), the Page's id and name, the Instagram account's id and username, and your Facebook user id so we can find this data again. We use them only to publish the posts the business approves and to show its latest public posts on its own storefront. We never sell them. Disconnecting erases the access codes at once; to have everything erased, follow the steps on our data deletion page.

Storage and security

Data is stored on infrastructure we operate. Tenant data is isolated per organization at the database level with row-level security policies enforced on every table.
